Lingerie for Your Feet?

Foot Undeez a new product from Capezio, my ballet shoe idol, is supposedly lingerie for your feet. Normally, I adore Capezio. For those of you who don’t know, I was a dancer, ballet, jazz and modern not exotic, in my late teens and 20s. I still take class regularly when I can. Where do you think these high arches and beautifully defined calves came from? Anyway, at one time in my life most of my wardrobe was Capezio. BUT

I took a look at these little gizmos and tried to figure out what their purpose was. As I said, they are supposedly lingerie for your feet playing on the “thong” idea. I just can’t see it. The full foot ones do look like I’d wear to a jazz or modern class but the little forefoot ones? Practical? No. Sexy? No. A fashion pas de deux? Maybe!

To me sexy footwear shows off or compliments the foot and the leg. It is a showcase of a lovely arch or a tease for tasty toes. It accentuates the way I walk and is an attractive accessory. These just don’t cut it in my book. How about you?

Bare Feet on the Beach

A couple of week’s ago I posted a bit about my beach vacation. How much I loved walking on the beach and feeling the tide suck at my toes as I waded in the water. Seeing on those bare feet on the beach put me in mind of a stripper bar for foot fetishists! Only on the beach you have to take the good with the bad and there’s a lot of bad! Ugly flat feet with bunions and plastic jelly shoes etc

Being more aware of my own feet and paying attention to the sensation of the water and sand on them I noticed the attention that they were getting. Since I love to tease I indulged my voyeurs with a bit of a show while I was playing in the water.

What exactly is a foot fetish? Loosely defined a fetish is a sexual attraction (can become an obsession) to a body part or item not usually identified as sexual. There are as many different types of attraction as there are toes and probably more. Is your sexual attraction to feet their appearance? Is it how they look in peep-toe shoes? Is it the shape of the foot, the way that lovely arch shapes the foot and begs for you to run your tongue up over it? Or looks like it would rest in you lap up against your cock so perfectly?

Is it the toes? Long toes? Painted toes? Short stubby ones? Bare toes? Toes in stockings? Toes in sandalfoot stockings? Toes in seamed stockings?

Is the object of your fantasy the scent of a woman’s foot after its been in shoes all day? Do you get aroused by those dirty white gym socks left in the hamper? Is your idea of sexual delight burying your nose in a pair of worn pantyhose?

See what I mean? There is no easy definition of a foot fetish as it means something different to different people. That’s also the fun of it too, finding out what it is that gets you going. MIss Me?

I’ve been in and out of town a lot so far this summer. I needed some time to recharge, so I unplugged myself from the computer. I hope you’ve enjoyed the feeds that I put up, but now I’m back and plan to be keeping you more up to date and to be posting pictures regularly again. I need to do some editing but I look forward to sharing with you here and on Twitter

I spent some time at a friend’s beach house in July. His place is secluded and the beach itself is in a cove and is almost private. I had a glorious time walking the beach at sunset and feeling the sand under my toes. I love the feel of curling my toes into the sand at the edge of a wave while the water pulls away. The slight feeling of vertigo and the pull of the water and sand on my feet gives me a tingle in my tummy and lower.

The beach is one place that it’s totally acceptable to be barefoot. I love my heels, but the freedom of being barefoot on the beach and feeling the different textures under my feet was delightful. The heat of the dry sand walking down to the water, changing to the cool damp sand at the water’s edge, the thick wet sand where the waves lapped up around my ankles. All of these sensations centered on my feet! All of you know how very sensitive my tootsies are so you can imagine how I reveled in the sensory overload!

Then of course there were the few people who shared the beach. I swear beaches must be like a stripper bar for a foot fetishist! More on those experiences later. Happy to be back and taking calls again.

Catherine de Medici is noted to be the first woman to wear high heels as a fashion statement. The tiny 14-year old was betrothed to the Duke d’Orleans in 1533. She had a pair of 2-inch heeled shoes made for her to appear taller and more regal at the French court.

Chopine were a platform shoe worn by women in Florence in the 16th century. The platform was often two feet high and women required assistance to walk or move about. Venetian prostitutes adopted the style and often wore chopines. The platform shoes elevated the prostitutes, who often lingered in dark doorways waiting for potential customers, to a height which would make them noticeable.
